At 9:12pm, 17 United Volunteers answered the call for the working barn fire. By 10:15, the fire was under control. All units cleared the scene at 12:19. At 9:12 pm last night, United Volunteers responded to a first-alarm barn fire on SR 167
United Fire Company, April 11
United Ladder, Engine 2, and Engine 6 arrived promptly to find a barn heavily engulfed in flames with an individual still inside and animals trapped. Crews laid 1300' of 5" supply line to a nearby water source while additional crews stretched an attack line interior and took over animal evacuation from the owners.
